Promised but not shipped: more levels, a snow biome pack, a desert biome pack, a shareable level editor, achievements, a better tutorial, new enemy types, console ports, more music and sound effects, facial animation and more languages. None of it has a release date or a price. His level count also changes every time he posts — 30 at release, 40 in total on 17 October, and eventually 50.

The Level Count Contradicts Itself

Three figures are live at once and none of them is authoritative: 30 levels for the 16 October release, “40 in total” from 17 October with the caveat that the finished game may end up higher, and “eventually 50” from the same discussion. Days later the developer added “20 more new levels soon” in one thread and “22 more new levels” in another, and neither reconciles with the figures before it.

Read any single number — including the ones on this page — as a snapshot of one post rather than a fact about the shipped build. What is not in dispute is that the room count rises with every patch and that the two biome packs were announced at thirty levels each. Level Structure covers what the forest rooms that are actually in the game look like.

FAQ

What is this site?

It is an unofficial, English-language guide hub for Fire and Water: Spirits of the Forest on Steam. It collects the mechanics, puzzle rules, crystal routes, enemy patterns, level structure, and co-op setup for the game in one place, so you can find the answer for the room you are stuck in without reading a whole forum thread.

Where do the facts on this site come from?

Game mechanics come from the official Steam store page and the developer's published patch notes. Player-facing details that the developer has not documented — level bugs, control quirks, reported connection problems — are labelled as player reports rather than stated as official facts.
